Adrienne Parker is a South African born artist who has lived in England for about twelve and a half years.  She studied as a graphic artist and worked in the design industry in South Africa before moving to the UK in 1997. After working in London for three years, her passion for painting inspired her to move out to Surrey where she took up private commission work and teaching fine art to adult students in the village of Tatsfield.

Adie enjoys painting in a variety of mediums, from watercolours and oils to pencils and pastels, her main focus being colour and technique.

She takes inspiration from the forests and countryside that surround her and the wealth of characterful architecture that abounds in Europe. Portraiture is another of her fascinations and she can be caught studying people’s features at close range - so beware!

Adrienne hopes you enjoy her work as much as she has loved painting it.

Professional Experience

Adrienne runs an Art School in Tatsfield and Classes in Oxted. She teaches over 100 students.

Adie has enjoyed performing a number of demonstrations for art groups in Surrey since 2000. The painting mediums have included oils, watercolour, pastels, drawing, line & wash, acrylic and gouache.

Solo: First successful solo exhibition of 80 works at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon; September 2004.
Group exhibition with the Tatsfield Art Group at Botley Farm in July 2005.
